Lovell Bradford is a renowned Charlotte, NC-based jazz pianist, bandleader, and educator with Jazz Arts & Davidson College, where he also studied.
Originally from Gary, Indiana he's known for seamlessly blending gospel, jazz, and R&B and has played on a number of top recordings in both the Gospel and Jazz traditions.
His first musical influences were in church where his first teacher, his grandmother, played every Sunday. This allowed his gifts to grow and that took him to Central State University where he would broaden his musical sphere of influences.
Lovell has performed with artists such as Pharez Whitted, Slide Hampton, Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Wes “Warmdaddy” Anderson, Ronnie Burrage, and many others.
This Jazz Quartet will undoubtedly bring a new meaning to how you view music!
